SaigonTex – SaigonFabric 2025 Draws Over 1,100 Exhibitors In HCM City

The 2025 Vietnam Saigon Textile & Garment Industry – Fabric & Garment Accessories Expo (SaigonTex – SaigonFabric) opened on April 9 in Ho Chi Minh City, showcasing the full textile and garment supply chain. Spanning 34,000 sqm, the event features over 1,100 exhibitors from 25 countries, a 6% increase from last year.
Key highlights include the Product Presentation Programme with live demos and a fashion parade, and a business matching initiative by VITAS to connect buyers with global suppliers.
At the opening, VCCI’s Trần Ngọc Liêm highlighted the sector’s economic importance, with Vietnam’s textile exports reaching US$ 44 billion in 2024, making it the world’s second-largest textile exporter after China. He called for increased investment in technology and green practices to meet sustainability goals.
VINATEX’s Cao Hữu Hiếu emphasized the need for green and digital transformation to boost competitiveness and support long-term growth.
The expo runs until April 12 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre.
