Karl Mayer To Showcase New Machines At Changzhou Product Show

Karl Mayer will showcase new machinery, textile developments and production solutions at its Changzhou facility in China alongside its participation in ITMA ASIA 2026 in Shanghai. Scheduled for November 19–21 and November 23, 2026, the product show will feature live machine demonstrations, an innovation showcase and technical consultations for textile manufacturers.
The event will cover warp knitting, warp preparation and technical textiles, with several machines making their Asian debut exclusively in Changzhou. Visitors will be able to assess productivity, process stability and fabric quality under production conditions.
For lingerie, sportswear and athleisure manufacturers, the company will demonstrate the HKS 4-S EL in a 290-inch working width and E 36 gauge. According to Karl Mayer, it is the company’s finest-gauge warp knitting machine with four guide bars, designed to produce fabrics with a premium appearance and handle.
Another highlight will be the RASCHELTRONIC RJ 4/2 EL in E 32 gauge, combining production efficiency with versatile patterning for functional lingerie and performance sportswear. The company will also present an upgraded TM WEFT featuring a finer gauge, an EL pattern drive and intelligent yarn tension control to improve fabric quality and broaden fashion applications.
Double-raschel technology will be a key attraction for footwear manufacturers. The RDJ 7/3, equipped with three Jacquard bars, enables differentiated functional zones, multicolour patterns, rounded openings and surfaces with multidimensional and embossed effects.

An RDJ 6/2 in the new E 32 gauge will also make its debut, producing spacer fabrics with fine structures, smooth surfaces and a soft handle.
For technical textile producers, Karl Mayer will introduce a high-performance composite machine for manufacturing biaxial non-crimp fabrics. Developed around the requirements of Asian manufacturers, particularly those serving the wind energy sector, the machine focuses on productivity, smooth running and ease of operation.
The company’s Textile Innovation Center will complement the machinery demonstrations with an approximately 480 sq. metre display of textile developments. Exhibits will include woven-like knits, athleisure fabrics, functional sports textiles, shoe uppers and products made from natural fibres, alongside developments for fashion, lace, home textiles and technical applications.
Workshops and consultations will address capacity expansion, economical small-batch production, product differentiation, cost efficiency and sustainable manufacturing. Specialists in machinery, processes, textiles and end-use applications will be available for discussions.
At ITMA ASIA in Shanghai, Karl Mayer will present warp preparation innovations in Hall 3, Booth A24, while warp knitting machinery and textile developments will feature in Hall 4.1, Booth C18.
