RSWM Q2 Profit Nearly Quadruples As Revenue Rises 15%

RSWM Ltd reported a strong improvement in profitability for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, supported by operational efficiencies, a favourable product mix and disciplined cost management.
Revenue rose 15% year-on-year toRs 1,322.3 crore in Q2 FY27, while total income increased 14.9% toRs 1,331.8 crore. EBITDA grew 47.1% toRs 115.9 crore, with the EBITDA margin expanding 191 basis points to 8.7%. Profit after tax nearly quadrupled toRs 24.5 crore fromRs 6.3 crore a year earlier.
Sequentially, revenue increased 13.9%, EBITDA rose 23.2% and net profit grew 46.6%. The company delivered these gains despite geopolitical uncertainty, supply-chain disruptions, elevated energy and ocean freight costs, and rising polyester prices.
Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman and Managing Director, RSWM, attributed the improvement to measures introduced under the company’s RSWM 2.0 initiative.
“Growth in topline, alongside improvements in profitability and margins, demonstrates the benefits of measures introduced under our RSWM 2.0 initiative,” he said.
The company plans to strengthen capabilities, improve productivity and expand its presence in value-added segments. Its sustainability priorities include energy efficiency, water conservation, emission reduction and greater use of recycled materials. RSWM also reported receiving an ICRA ESG Impact Rating of 70, classified as ‘Good’.
For the first half of FY27, revenue increased 7.1% toRs 2,483.5 crore, while total income rose 6.9% toRs 2,501.9 crore. EBITDA grew 31.4% toRs 210 crore, with a margin of 8.4%. Net profit more than tripled toRs 41.3 crore fromRs 13.2 crore.
Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, said the half-year performance reflected the contribution of RSWM’s diversified operations amid volatile input costs and uncertain export conditions.
A key development during the period was its partnership with Spain-based NDS9 through LNJ NDS9 Global Private Limited. The venture extends RSWM’s denim business into finished garments, combining its manufacturing capabilities with NDS9’s design and marketing expertise.
The company also identified its subsidiary, LNJ GreenPet Private Limited, as an important part of its sustainability-led growth plans.
