DyeCoo’s Waterless Dyeing Technique Emits 58% Less Emission
As per a study commissioned by Adidas, DyeCoo’s waterless dyeing technology used at CleanDye’s factory in Vietnam was found to produce 58 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions compared to regular textile dyeing processes.
The study was conducted by Sphera, an independent consultant. Sphera compared CleanDye and DyeCoo’s waterless dyeing to three conventional fabric vendors used by Adidas. The findings showed a 58 percent smaller carbon footprint compared to traditional fabric dyeing.
Apart from being eco-friendly, DyeCoo’s CO₂ dyeing technology provides a wide range of vibrant colours and maintains high consistency in bulk production without compromising quality or cost.
CleanDye is a supplier of fabrics for renowned brands, and discussions are ongoing with many other global apparel and footwear brands to incorporate DyeCoo and CleanDye into their supply chains.
DyeCoo’s patented technology and CleanDye’s purpose-built dyeing facility in Vietnam play a significant role in the sustainable transformation of the fashion industry. The aim is to expand the impact of DyeCoo and CleanDye’s innovation for a greener fashion industry.
DyeCoo showcased new CO₂ dyeing solutions at ITMA, the largest international textile and garment technology exhibition, held in Italy in June. They introduced a smaller electric CO₂ dyeing machine for sampling and a sophisticated lab system for R&D.
