VJTI’s Centenary Conference Honors Textile Industry Trailblazers
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), a pioneer in technical education, celebrated its centenary year with an International Conference on Sustainable Technical Textiles Innovative Materials & Machinery Development at its Matunga Campus on 2nd December, 2023. Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs & Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, Govt. of India, Piyush Goyal, inaugurated the conference. Joining him were Virendra Singh (I.A.S.), Hon. Secretary (Textiles), Government of Maharashtra, Sourav Mukherjee, Deputy Mission Director of Ministry of Textiles – National Technical Textile Mission, Dr. Sachin D. Kore, Principal and Director of VJTI Mumbai, and Dr. Neha Mehra, HoD – Department of Textile Engineering, VJTI.
