Mimaki Europe Welcomes Takao Terashima As New Managing Director

Mimaki Europe, a leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting-edge technologies, has appointed Takao Terashima as its new Managing Director. Commencing his journey with Mimaki in 1997 within the Research and Development Department, Terashima has honed his extensive expertise in Mimaki’s technology portfolio and the surrounding market throughout his 26-year tenure. Holding various senior positions within the company, he most recently served as the Senior General Manager of the Asia Oceania Business Unit, a role he assumed in 2017. Preceding this, Terashima spent six months as the Senior Deputy General Manager of Quality Management from April to October 2017.

Terashima’s professional journey has transcended Mimaki’s headquarters in Japan, encompassing roles in Mimaki’s international branches. Notably, he served as the Managing Director of Mimaki Singapore for four years between 2013 and 2017. Earlier in his career, he contributed to Mimaki USA as part of the technical support staff.

Assuming the role of Managing Director of Mimaki Europe from Takahiro Hiraki, Terashima is poised to leverage his industry expertise, analytical acumen, business acuity, team-building skills and comprehensive knowledge of the company.
