Mayer & Cie.’s New Chinese Subsidiary Starts Operations From April 1

Mayer & Cie. CN Changzhou LLC, the Chinese subsidiary of the German circular knitting and braiding machine manufacturer, has relocated its headquarters from Shanghai to Jintan in Jiangsu Province. The construction work commenced in June 2023 and was successfully completed in the first quarter of 2024.

Situated within a Sino-German Innovation Park, the new location features a spacious production hall spanning approximately 5,000 square meters. The subsidiary officially commenced its operations on April 1, 2024.

Christof Stettin, also known as Mayer & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG’s IT superhero, traveled to China to ensure seamless connectivity between the new company in Jintan and the headquarters in Albstadt.
