The company supplies end to end wastewater treatment solutions which include ETP, recycling plants and also zero liquid discharge (ZLD) plants. All industries which are in red category need to install zero liquid discharge plants
“A.T.E. Huber Envirotech has two divisions. One is municipal wastewater treatment division, and the other is the industrial wastewater division.
In municipal wastewater treatment division, we sell the equipment to contractors who manage STPs like L&T, Passavant, Xylem, Suez, Va Tech, Tata Projects, etc,” Bhushan Zarapkar, Director at A.T.E. Huber Envirotech said.
The second is the industrial division, in which A.T.E. Huber Envirotech provides end to end solutions for industries across all sectors like textiles, pharma, petrochemicals, dairies, distilleries, dyes & chemicals, paper, steel, power and more.
“Based on the pollution challenges of each industry, we have devised innovative solutions hence, we have managed to solve complex wastewater problems very effectively and received repeat orders from several customers,” he added.
According to Zarapkar, their plants have both anaerobic as well as aerobic biological processes. Anaerobic biological process does not require much of power, generates less sludge and generates biogas and hence is more sustainable.
The lifecycle or operating cost of their wastewater treatment equipment is very low and the payback period is attractive.
The company has done several projects within the textile industry which includes repeat projects in Ramco Industries from Madurai and D’décor in Tarapur where they have installed a ZLD.
In overseas countries, the company has done a project for an Israeli textile and garment company named Delta Galil in Vietnam and also for Sri Lankan company, Mass Active in Dominican Republic.
Additionally, it has done projects for the Indorama Group in Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.
“Our customers have concluded that A.T.E. Huber Envirotech ETPs, water recycling plants or ZLD’s are more robust and sustainable than those offering similar technologies in the market,” Mr Zarapkar said proudly.
