Ajmera Pavilion To Showcase 60 Surat Textile Vendors At Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026

Ajay Ajmera, Founder and CEO of Ajmera Fashion Ltd., is set to lead a major showcase of Surat’s textile industry at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 by bringing together 60 textile vendors under a dedicated exhibition platform at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from August 12–15.
Organised jointly by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), the event is themed “Made in India. Made for India. Made for the World” and aims to promote domestic manufacturing and strengthen India’s self-reliance agenda.
As a Work Partner for the exhibition, Ajmera is developing a 10,000 sq. ft. exhibition space, including a 4,000 sq. ft. Ajmera Pavilion, designed to showcase Surat’s textile capabilities, premium fabrics and product innovations. The pavilion will serve as a business networking and sourcing platform for buyers, retailers, distributors and industry stakeholders from across the country.
The participating exhibitors represent a broad cross-section of Surat’s textile ecosystem, ranging from established manufacturers to emerging entrepreneurs, including a significant number of women-led enterprises.
“Surat’s textile ecosystem is driven by thousands of entrepreneurs, but many smaller manufacturers do not get the national visibility they deserve. The Ajmera Pavilion is an opportunity to showcase the scale, diversity and innovation of Surat’s textile industry on a single platform,” said Ajay Ajmera.
The initiative is expected to create direct business opportunities for Surat-based manufacturers by connecting them with pan-India distribution networks, corporate buyers and institutional stakeholders. By bringing 60 independent suppliers together under one roof, the pavilion aims to accelerate market access and strengthen Surat’s position as a leading textile and apparel hub.
The participation also reinforces Surat’s growing role in India’s textile value chain while supporting the broader objectives of Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav to promote indigenous manufacturing and expand market opportunities for Indian businesses.
