BGL Appoints Seth Rosenfield As Managing Director
Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), a leading independent investment bank and financial advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Seth Rosenfield as Managing Director. Rosenfield, with over 25 years of experience in information services, business media and marketing technology & services investment banking, will co-lead BGL’s new Technology & Information Services sector within the firm’s Services vertical, alongside Managing Director Brandon Dobell.
Effram Kaplan, Head of BGL’s Services and Infrastructure verticals, stated, “Seth’s extensive experience and industry relationships enhance our ability to provide exceptional advisory and financing solutions.”
Previously, Rosenfield served as Managing Director at Canaccord Genuity, focusing on similar sectors, and at BMO Capital Markets, leading B2B and Information Services coverage. He began his career in operations with Scholastic Corporation and Simon & Schuster. Rosenfield holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from New York University.

This addition is part of BGL’s ongoing expansion, which has included significant growth in its Services, Infrastructure, Technology, and Healthcare & Life Sciences verticals, as well as its Financial Sponsor Coverage team.
