Bharat Tex Is A Wonderful Event Where International Buyers And Industry Players Engage Under One Roof: Sandeep Rohilla

Bhilosa Industries is making a strong impression at Bharat Tex 2025 with its latest range of yarns and fabrics tailored for the garment industry. The company is addressing key industry challenges, including the rising cost of cotton, by introducing alternative yarn solutions with cotton-like structure. Additionally, Bhilosa is offering products suitable for various segments, including the zari industry, jacket manufacturing and suiting fabrics. A major highlight is its dope-dyed yarns, which eliminate water-intensive conventional dyeing processes, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Speaking on Bharat Tex’s significance, Sandeep Rohilla emphasized its role as a comprehensive platform uniting different segments of the textile value chain. “This is a wonderful event where international buyers and industry players from across the globe are engaging under one roof,” he said. He highlighted how Bharat Tex stands apart from earlier regional exhibitions by bringing together fibre, yarn, fashion and garment businesses on a large scale.
Elaborating on the current trends in the Indian and global textile industry, Rohilla noted that India still holds only a small share of the global market compared to China. “China commands 55% of the global textile market, while India’s share is just 10%. We need strong policy support, incentives and access to cost-effective raw materials to compete on a global scale,” he stated. He stressed that high import duties on raw materials and lack of financial incentives for exports put Indian manufacturers at a disadvantage.
Bhilosa Industries has been focusing on innovation and expansion to strengthen its market presence. The company recently launched ring-spun yarn, with further expansion plans in this segment. Rohilla noted that the response at Bharat Tex has been overwhelmingly positive, with strong interest from both domestic and international buyers, including visitors from Egypt, Dhaka and Europe.
As Bhilosa Industries continues to expand its product range and production capacity, it remains focused on delivering high-quality, cost-effective textile solutions while advocating for policy changes to boost India’s textile exports.
