Borana Weaves Makes Strong Market Debut With 12.5% Premium On BSE

Textile manufacturer Borana Weaves made an impressive stock market debut on the BSE, listing at Rs 243.00, marking a 12.5% premium over its issue price of Rs 216.00. The stock gained further momentum post-listing, climbing to Rs 255.10, which represents an 18.1% rise from the IPO price.
During trading hours, the scrip touched an intraday high of Rs 255.10 and a low of Rs 243. Trading volumes were robust, with around 2.06 lakh shares changing hands on the counter.
The IPO, opened for subscription from May 20 to May 22, 2025, received an overwhelming response from investors, getting subscribed 147.85 times. The issue price was set at Rs 216 per share, the upper end of the Rs 205 – Rs 216 price band.
Headquartered in Surat, Borana Weaves is engaged in the manufacturing of unbleached synthetic grey fabric. The successful listing reflects strong investor confidence in the company’s niche textile business and future growth potential.
