Brazil To Export Historical Volume Of Cotton In 2023-24

Brazil could be exporting a historical volume of 2.5 million tons of cotton in the Brazilian cotton year beginning from July 2023

This would represent growth of more than one million tons compared to the total of 1.396 million tons of cotton exported in the 2022-23 cotton year.

This was informed by Miguel Faus, President of the National Association of Cotton Exporters (ANEA) who expressed full confidence in achieving the historical figure.

For the month of September 2023 too, Brazil is again expected to set a record by exporting 200,000 tons of cotton, the highest for September in any year.
