BRÜCKNER Bolsters Energy and Environmental Expertise With New Department

For over 75 years, the German mechanical engineering company BRÜCKNER has been at the forefront of developing, producing and selling textile finishing lines worldwide. Known for its expertise in coating, drying, heat-setting, and more, the family-owned company has always prioritized environmental protection and energy efficiency. Reducing emissions, minimizing resource consumption and optimizing heating media usage have long been central to BRÜCKNER’s research and development efforts—and these priorities will only intensify moving forward.

To better prepare for future challenges and provide customers with comprehensive advice, BRÜCKNER has consolidated its expertise into a new “Environmental and Energy Technology” department, led by Andreas Troscheit. This department oversees all heat-recovery and exhaust air purification systems. Troscheit, who has managed the Technology Center in Leonberg and handled technical application advice for the past three years, is now supported by Tobias Keitel and David Knies. Keitel focuses on the design and distribution of these systems, while Knies specializes in software and control, including the innovative ExperTex simulation tool. This intelligent software—available on all new machines and retrofittable to older lines—enables customers to boost production output, while reducing energy consumption.

BRÜCKNER’s extensive product portfolio in environmental and energy technology features a range of heat-recovery and exhaust air purification units available individually or as fully integrated systems. Their modular design allows customization to meet specific customer requirements, with units that can be activated or deactivated as needed. Newly developed automatic cleaning systems enhance energy savings, reduce maintenance and personnel costs, extend the life of filter modules, and maintain consistent filter performance. The cleaning programs are fully configurable, ensuring that production processes remain uninterrupted.

As the only supplier offering all heat-recovery and exhaust air cleaning components from a single source, BRÜCKNER’s new department combines state-of-the-art technology, deep expertise and decades of experience. This integrated approach empowers customers to achieve sustainable and future-oriented textile finishing solutions.
