The Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association (BSL) has announced the launch of Global Outreach Summit (GOS) 2.0 in New Delhi, outlining an ambitious roadmap to facilitate Rs 18,000 crore (approximately US$ 2 billion) in business for the apparel and lifestyle industry during FY 2026–28.

The announcement was made during a high-level press conference addressed by BSL’s senior leadership, including Chairman Raman Dutta, Co-Chairman Neeraj Nagpal, Founding and Board Member Sanjay Shukla, President – Vision & Media Jasveen Kaur, President – North Shilpi Tiwari, Secretary General Vipin Khaneja, Senior Vice President Jateen Kashyap, and Council Director – Sustainability Rohit Joshi.

Positioned as a strategic global sourcing and collaboration platform, Global Outreach Summit 2.0 aims to strengthen India’s role as a hub for fashion, textiles, sourcing and lifestyle industries. The association said the Rs 18,000 crore facilitation target reflects growing global confidence in India’s manufacturing ecosystem and its expanding capabilities across design, innovation, sustainability and digital transformation.

Addressing the media, Raman Dutta said the summit is designed to convert intent into execution and deliver measurable economic outcomes for the industry. He emphasized that structured global partnerships and CEO-level engagement would be central to achieving the targeted business outcomes over the next two financial years.

Neeraj Nagpal highlighted the need for a formalized platform that enables Indian brands to expand globally while promoting India’s rich textile heritage. Sanjay Shukla noted that BSL’s founding vision was to create tangible industry impact by integrating global best practices, adding that GOS 2.0 reflects that long-term purpose. Jasveen Kaur underscored the importance of positioning India not merely as a sourcing base but as a strategic global partner. Rohit Joshi stressed that sustainability has become central to global trade partnerships and will remain a core theme at the summit.

GOS 2.0 is expected to emerge as one of the industry’s influential international platforms, bringing together more than 3,000 delegates from India and overseas. The summit will host over 2,000 lifestyle and textile industry professionals, more than 200 global and domestic brands, and over 100 speakers from key markets including Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Canada.

The three-day event will focus on strategic dialogue, innovation, inclusivity, automation and sustainable growth. A key feature will be the Accelerator Dialogues, where BSL members will deliberate on policy alignment, sourcing excellence, digital transformation and long-term competitiveness. Complementing this, the Catalyst Sessions will feature global brand leaders sharing business case studies, leadership insights and evolving market perspectives.

Another highlight will be the BSL Founding Principles Panch Pahal showcase, structured around five strategic pillars: Sustainability (Green Zone), Automation & Digitalization (Blue Zone), Sportswear & Athleisure (Red Zone), Design & Innovation (Purple Zone), and Brand Globalization (Yellow Zone). An immersive Lifestyle Zone will display premium footwear, home textiles, fashion, accessories and lifestyle products, showcasing India’s craftsmanship and value-added capabilities.

The summit will also host CEO roundtables, buyer–seller meets, curated fashion showcases and high-level networking sessions aimed at accelerating trade partnerships. Senior government officials, policymakers, trade bodies and international delegations are expected to participate in discussions on export facilitation, policy frameworks and investment opportunities to further strengthen India’s global trade ecosystem.

In addition, the event will feature the Iconic BSL Global Outreach Awards, recognizing organizations and industry leaders for excellence in innovation, sustainability, leadership and long-term contributions to the fashion, textile and lifestyle sectors.

As a not-for-profit industry association, BSL represents international and Indian brands, large buying offices, sourcing heads and solution providers across the value chain. Through Global Outreach Summit 2.0, the association aims to build structured global partnerships, accelerate trade flows and position India as a world-class destination for brand building, innovation and sustainable manufacturing.
