Century Textiles & Industries Slips Into Loss In Q1FY’24

Aditya Birla Group owned Century Textiles & Industries slipped into a loss in the first quarter of fiscal ending June 2023 as against profit in the same quarter of previous fiscal.

The company posted net loss of Rs 5.88 crores for the period ended June 30, 2023 as against net profit of Rs 46.31 crores in the quarter ending June 30, 2022.

In the reporting period, the company recorded total income of Rs 1125.38 crores when compared with Rs 1194.01 crores during the same period of fiscal 2023, down 6 percent.

The company reported negative EPS of Rs 0.53 in the period under review as against Rs 4.15 for the period ending June 30, 2022.
