Chinese Cotton Fabric Exports Up 10.24% Between Jan & Feb

Cotton fabric export volumes in the first two months of 2024 increased 9.32 percent year on year to 938 million metres, while value-wise it rose 10.24 percent to US $1.51 billion.

Of this, cotton fabric overseas shipments grew to 560 million metres in January, down 2.77 percent from a year ago month and was also down in value by 3.45 percent to $919 million.

Cotton fabric export volumes stood at 378 million metres in February 2024, a year over year impressive growth of 34.12 percent, while value wise it climbed significantly by 40.89 percent value wise.
