Chinese PSF Exports Surge 16% In August
Chinese polyester staple fibre (PSF) exports surged 16 percent year on year and 4.2 percent month on month in August 2023 to reach 101.6 kilo tons.
Although the volume of PSF imports was very less when compared to exports, they expanded by 35 percent from a year ago period and 13.5 percent month on month to total 9,800 tons in August 2023.
In the first eight months of the current year, overall shipments of Chinese PSF stood at 804.4 kilo tons, a growth of 21.97 percent year on year.
