CHT Bags Top Performer Award From Adidas
Sports shoes and apparel marketer Adidas has awarded CHT with its Top Performer award at its Adiformulator Award 2023.
“This award recognises CHT’s high level of innovation and its constant commitment to making the textile value chain more sustainable,” the German manufacturer of textile dyes & auxiliaries said in a press release.
In its latest evaluation, Adidas ranked the suppliers of chemical products and auxiliaries used in the manufacture of its products.
With 98 percent ZDHC Level 3 auxiliaries and colourants in its portfolio, CHT added that it is a preferred partner for the sustainable chemical treatment of certifiable branded products.
CHT stated that it sees itself in a responsible position as a manufacturer and supplier of sustainable chemical products along the textile value chain.
“Being innovative means taking responsibility for the future and for this reason, the company pursues a strategy of sustainable product ranges in all business areas,” CHT observed.
CHT also supports its customers with comprehensive individual application advice for maximum sustainable success at all levels.
In 2022, CHT generated 77 percent of its total sales with sustainably classified products and its R&D department tries to make the entire textile value chain more sustainable.
CHT has already been active as a ZDHC contributor since 2019 with a comprehensive range of more than 2,200 certified products.
Of these, 70 percent are textile auxiliaries and 30 percent are dyes in the portfolio that are certified to Level 3 ZDHC, Bluesign or C2C standards.
