CITI Conference ATEXCON Will Be Held From August 31

The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) will be organising the 11th edition of Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON) in Coimbatore from August 31 to September 1, 2023.

The theme for this edition is ‘2025 & Beyond Asia’s Global Hub for Textile Manufacturing & Consumers’. Over 400 delegates from global textile & apparel value chain are expected to participate in the conference.

“The conference provides a conducive forum for policy makers and the industry to collaborate and find the way forward to usher the Asian textile industry to a sustainable future through 2025 and beyond,” CITI said.

Gherzi Textil Organisation is the knowledge partner and Southern India Mills Association (SIMA) is the host association of the conference.

Union Minister of Textiles Piyush Goyal is the chief guest and will inaugurate ATEXCON and address delegates at 4 PM on August 31.

Government of Tamil Nadu has extended its support to the 11th ATEXCON as a Partner State.

Topics to be discussed include, Enabling Resilient Textile & Apparel Supply Chains; Regional Cooperation And Partnerships For Sustainable Development and Trends; Developments And Innovations In Home Textiles; and Managing Financial Risks In T&A Businesses.

Other discussion topics will be, Emerging Trends & Opportunities In The MMF Based Value Added Textiles Including Technical Textiles; Collaborating With India; and Green Revolution: Scaling Sustainable Textile & Apparel Manufacturing.
