Double Accolades For Sun Chemical At FIA Awards 2024

Sun Chemical has proudly announced two wins at the Flexographic Industry Association (FIA) Awards. The company received the “Technical Innovation of the Year” award for SunVisto AquaHeat inks, showcasing its commitment to innovation and sustainability in printing. These water-based flexographic inks are designed for industrial ovens, withstanding temperatures up to 220°C for 120 minutes and meeting stringent European food safety regulations. With over 60% bio-based raw materials, AquaHeat inks offer eco-friendly solutions without compromising performance. They provide vibrant, stable colours on various substrates, ideal for food packaging.

Sun Chemical celebrated another milestone at the FIA Awards 2024. Ian Low, a stalwart in the print industry and a veteran of Sun Chemical, was honoured with the “Outstanding Contribution to the Industry” award. Ian’s career, spanning four decades, has been marked by his relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence in flexographic printing.
