DyStar To Consolidate Charlotte Operations Into Reidsville Facility After Land Sale

DyStar, a global specialty chemical company, has announced the sale of its Charlotte, North Carolina, manufacturing facility and the subsequent consolidation of operations into its Reidsville, North Carolina, site. The move aims to enhance production efficiency and align with the company’s long-term growth strategy for the Americas.

The property, currently housing DyStar Carolina Chemical Corporation, has been sold to Constellation Real Estate Partners, with the deal expected to close in Q4 2025. The relocation process will take place over the next 12 months, with completion anticipated by late 2025 or early 2026.

“This strategic decision reflects DyStar’s commitment to adapting to market trends, investing in new technologies, and strengthening our competitive position,” said Xu Yalin, Managing Director and President, DyStar Group.

Clement Yang, Vice President, Global Manufacturing, DyStar Group, added, “We are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining the highest level of service for our customers.”

The consolidation will impact some positions, and DyStar has committed to supporting affected employees by offering opportunities at other sites in the U.S. The move is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity, providing customers with an advanced, scalable infrastructure for future growth.
