Egis Names Frederico Justus as CEO For Middle-East & South Asia

Egis, a global leader in architecture, consulting, construction engineering and operations services, has announced the appointment of Frederico Justus as Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and South Asia. The move is part of the company’s wider strategic reorganization under its ‘Impact the Future’ plan, which aims to elevate Egis into the top 10 global construction engineering firms and double its turnover by 2029.
Group CEO Laurent Germain praised the leadership of outgoing regional CEO Alaa Abusiam, whose five-year tenure helped lay a robust foundation in the region. Abusiam will now lead Egis’ expansion into the Americas. “Frederico’s operational excellence, strategic insight and international experience will be pivotal as we continue to grow in the Middle East and South Asia, where demand for sustainable and digitally advanced infrastructure is rapidly rising,” Germain said.
Justus, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the region, brings over 25 years of global experience across infrastructure, digital technology and energy sectors. His career includes leadership roles driving digital transformation, decarbonisation and innovation-led partnerships in both emerging and mature markets. With a decade of experience in the Middle East, he is well-positioned to lead Egis in delivering integrated, sustainable infrastructure solutions tailored to regional ambitions.
