Erreà Upgrades Digital Printing With Seven New Systems From Mimaki Europe

Italian sportswear brand Erreà has overhauled its digital textile printing operations with the installation of seven high-performance systems from Mimaki Europe, replacing a previous fleet of 28 printers.
The new configuration includes three Tiger600-1800TS industrial dye-sublimation printers and four TS330-1600 models. The upgrade is aimed at streamlining production, improving efficiency and ensuring consistent colour accuracy across facilities.
Facing growing demand for mass customisation, shorter lead times and high-quality output in the sportswear segment, Erreà undertook a strategic review of its printing infrastructure. Founder and CEO Angelo Gandolfi said the company selected Mimaki not only for its technology but also for its long-term partnership approach.
The combination of the high-productivity Tiger600-1800TS and the versatile TS330-1600 enables Erreà to handle both large-volume orders for clubs and federations and small-batch customised runs within a single, integrated workflow.
One TS330-1600 unit has been installed at Erreà’s creative headquarters in Italy for design development and sampling, while the remaining systems operate at its production facility in Romania. The consolidated setup simplifies machine management, optimises production space and delivers consistent, repeatable results across locations.
With the new infrastructure fully operational, Erreà expects greater control over production processes while embedding mass customisation as a standard, scalable capability within its operations.
