First Edition Of APTEXPO 2024 Taking Place In Singapore In Nov
The first Asia-Pacific Textile and Apparel Supply Chain Expo (APTEXPO 2024) will take place from November 13-15, 2024 at the Sands Exhibition and Convention Center in Singapore.
APTEXPO 2024 is being held under the theme of ‘Re-engineering towards a Resilient, Adaptive and Sustainable Supply Chain’ and will help stakeholders develop and overcome challenges.
The event is being organised by the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX), China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC).
The co-organisers are MP Singapore Pte Ltd and Textile Industry Sub-Council, CCPIT (CCPIT TEX), while Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) will also support the event as the host association in Singapore.
APTEXPO 2024 has received strong support from regional associations like the Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC) and Indonesian Textile Association (API).
They also include, Association of the Lao Garment Industry (ALGI), Malaysian Textile Manufacturers Association (MTMA) and Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA).
Others associations are the Confederation of Wearable Exporters of the Philippines, the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI) and Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS).
“Singapore, the gateway to Asia-Pacific and is the perfect country to host the first APTEXPO 2024. We look forward to meeting various stakeholders at this platform,” Albert Tan, Chairman of AFTEX said.
“APTEXPO 2024 will bring new cooperation opportunities unprecedented among our stakeholders in the region and globally,” Xu Yingxin, Chairman at CNTAC also said.

“This will be a good platform to connect Asia-Pacific’s textile manufacturing powerhouse to pursue a decentralised production model with a global context and a more efficient supply chain,” he stated.
APTEXPO 2024 will also focus on the current challenges and opportunities facing global supply chains, especially in the context of industrial upgrading and reshaping of international trade patterns.
This also includes how people can improve the security and efficiency of supply chains, through decentralised manufacturing.
The accompanying ‘Thought Leaders Summit’ is expected to be attended by more than 300 delegates from key brands, major retail chains, policymakers and technology providers from around the world.
