Ganesha Ecosphere’s Q1 Profit Jumps 533%

Ganesha Ecosphere, a leading player in the PET bottle recycling industry, has posted remarkable financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25. The company’s consolidated profit surged by an impressive 533.76%, reaching Rs 22.55 crore for the April-June quarter, compared to Rs 3.45 crore in the same period last year.

This stellar performance is complemented by a 32.44% increase in revenue, which climbed to Rs 336.55 crore from Rs 254.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s operating margin also saw a significant boost, rising from 10.03% to 14.17%, while EBITDA jumped from Rs 4.85 crore to Rs 30.15 crore on a year-on-year basis.

Ganesha Ecosphere’s stock reflected this positive momentum, closing at Rs 1604.60 on August 9, up 1.35% from the previous close.

As a pioneer in the PET plastic recycling sector in India, Ganesha Ecosphere boasts a total installed capacity of 156,440 tonnes, producing a wide range of products including Recycled Polyester Staple Fiber (RPSF), Recycled PET (RPET) granules, RPET filament yarn, spun yarn, dyed filament yarn, and Polypropylene Staple Fiber (PPSF). The company’s continued focus on innovation and sustainability has positioned it as a leader in the industry, contributing significantly to India’s recycling ecosystem.
