Government Extends PLI Textiles Application Deadline To March 31, 2026

The Government of India has extended the deadline for submitting fresh applications under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles to March 31, 2026.

The extension follows a strong response since the application portal was re-opened in August 2025, with textile companies submitting proposals across priority segments such as Man-Made Fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles.

Officials said the move reflects rising investor confidence in India’s textile sector and is aimed at enabling broader participation by providing additional time for eligible companies to apply under the scheme.

The PLI Textiles application portal will remain open until March 31, 2026.
