Gessner has announced that their Alphastar tribo-electric nonwoven and NeenahPure meltblown nonwoven filter media now come with an activated carbon layer for pleatable and bag filters. These high-efficiency electrostatic filter media can be customized to meet specific requirements, ranging from high-efficiency filtration to standard needs.
The activated carbon air filter media features a high-efficiency electrostatic particle filter layer that effectively captures and neutralizes a wide range of impurities, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odours and other contaminants. The company can tailor the activated carbon layers to suit various application requirements.
The Alphastar tribo-electric filter media offers superior filtration performance with high dust-holding capacity, low airflow resistance and excellent removal efficiency. Meanwhile, the NeenahPure product range includes highly charged meltblown media designed for pleatable and bag filters in HVAC, air purification and air pollution control applications, ensuring clean indoor air for better protection.
Gessner’s filter media cover a range of efficiencies from MERV 8 to MERV 16 (ASHRAE 52.2) and ePM10 to ePM1 (ISO 16890), with the technical capability to customize both the activated carbon and particle layers. This enables them to engineer filter media specifically tailored to customer needs.
