High Volume Of Brazilian Cotton Exports Between Aug & Nov

Between August and November 2023, or just four months, the volume of Brazilian cotton exported is equivalent to half of the volume exported in the entire 2021-22 season.

In the four months to November 2023, 770,220 tons of cotton has already been shipped, which is more than half of the quantity of total 1.449 million tons from shipped from August 2022 to July 2023.

Data revealed that Brazilian cotton exports touched 253,710 tons in November, an increase of 12 percent over October 2023. This volume was however lower by 5.5 percent against November 2022.

“77.76 percent of the 2022-23 season’s cotton has already been sold in the largest Brazilian-producing state of Mato Grosso,” data from the Mato-Grossense Institute of Agricultural Economics said.
