INDA Appoints Ben Muller As Executive Director
INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has appointed Ben Muller as Executive Director, effective September 15, 2026.
Muller brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across non-profit organisations, corporations and trade associations. He most recently served on the senior executive team of the High Point Market Authority, where he led marketing, public relations and educational programmes for the High Point Market trade show.
Earlier, Muller held senior brand and marketing positions at Hanesbrands and Kayser-Roth, gaining experience across textile and apparel supply chains. He began his career with organisations including the American Cancer Society and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The appointment comes following the formation of the Global Nonwovens Alliance (GNA) by INDA and EDANA. Muller will lead INDA’s strategic initiatives, oversee operations and represent the interests of the nonwovens industry across the Americas.
INDA President and CEO Tony Fragnito will transition to an executive consultant role in January 2027, supporting the leadership transition and initiatives to expand the GNA. He plans to retire in December 2027.
Muller said he looked forward to working with INDA members and strengthening collaboration through the GNA.
INDA Board Chair Mark A. Thornton said Muller’s strategic and industry experience would support the association as it enters its next phase. GNA CEO Murat Dogru also welcomed the appointment, highlighting the importance of strong regional leadership within the Alliance.
