Indo Count Q2 Income Rises 57% To Record Rs 1,699 Crore

Indo Count Industries Ltd reported its highest-ever quarterly consolidated total income of Rs 1,699 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, up 57% year-on-year, supported by market share gains, deeper customer relationships and growth in its branded portfolio.
EBITDA rose 111% to Rs 259 crore, while profit after tax increased 238% to Rs 132 crore. The EBITDA margin stood at 15.3%, compared with 11.4% a year earlier.
For the first half of FY27, total income increased 43% to Rs 2,923 crore. EBITDA grew 73% to Rs 420 crore, while profit after tax rose 150% to Rs 195 crore. Sales volumes reached 28 million metres during the quarter and 51 million metres during the half year.
New businesses, comprising utility bedding and the US brand business, generated quarterly revenue exceeding Rs 500 crore, contributing around 30% of total income. The company also expanded Wamsutta’s presence beyond direct-to-consumer channels into the broader US retail market.
“The growth was driven by market share gains; increased wallet share and growing contribution from our branded portfolio. Both core and new businesses recorded robust growth despite inflationary market conditions, underscoring the resilience of our business model,” said Anil Kumar Jain, Executive Chairman.
Indo Count reported its lowest-ever net debt of Rs 518 crore, with a net debt-to-equity ratio of 0.2 times.
With its first-half EBITDA margin of 14.4% already above the full-year guidance of 13%, the company expects to exceed its FY27 total income and EBITDA margin guidance.
“Looking ahead, we remain focused on deepening customer partnerships, expanding our branded portfolio and strengthening our geographical presence to capitalize on emerging opportunities,” Jain added.
