Industry Leaders Appointed to Textiles Committee
Bhadresh Dodhia and Rakesh Mehra have been appointed as members of the Textiles Committee, a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Bhadresh Dodhia, Chairman of MATEXIL (formerly SRTEPC), expressed his commitment to driving growth, innovation and sustainability in the Indian textile industry. “I am honoured to be part of the Textiles Committee and look forward to working together towards a brighter future for Indian textiles,” Dodhia said.
In a related development, the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) extended its gratitude to the Ministry of Textiles for appointing Rakesh Mehra, Chairman of CITI, to the committee. CITI highlighted the significance of the new committee’s role in fostering progressive initiatives and strengthening the textile value chain.
Both appointments mark a pivotal moment for the industry, promising a collaborative effort to advance the sector’s growth and sustainability.
