Italian Machinery Set For Techtextil 2025

A substantial contingent of Italian textile machinery manufacturers is set to participate in Techtextil North America 2025, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, from May 6 to 8.
The presence is being coordinated by ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers) in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, with a dedicated pavilion featuring 21 leading Italian companies showcasing cutting-edge technological innovations.
Participating ACIMIT member companies include: 4M Plants, Bianco, Bonino, Color Service, Fadis, Flainox, Ima, Marzoli, Monti Antonio, Monti-Mac, Omr, Ramatex, Ramina, Reggiani Macchine, Siltex, Simet, Stalam, Tecnorama, Unitech, Zanfrini, and Zappa.
The U.S. textile industry remains a vital pillar of American manufacturing, boasting annual sales exceeding USD 64 billion and employing over 500,000 workers. With a strong focus on modernization, U.S. textile companies continue to be major investors in advanced technology, textile machinery imports into the U.S. totaled approximately USD 1 billion in 2024.
For Italian textile machinery manufacturers, the United States is the fourth largest export market, following China, Turkey, and India. In 2024, Italian exports to the U.S. totaled €112 million, maintaining stability compared to the previous year.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Marco Salvadè, President of ACIMIT, stated, “The 2025 edition of Techtextil North America comes at a time of economic uncertainty for the global textile machinery sector. However, the increased participation of Italian companies compared to recent editions reflects a sense of cautious optimism regarding the development of new projects within the U.S. textile market.”
