Karl Mayer Launches Advanced Warp Prep Equipment

At ITMA Asia + CITME, Karl Mayer’s warp preparation exhibition highlighted its commitment to sustainability and efficiency, drawing significant interest from attendees. The stand featured cutting-edge technologies, including a new generation beam warping machine capable of speeds up to 1,200 m/min, and the innovative CASCADE system, designed to significantly reduce steam consumption, costs and environmental impact during sizing.

The Smart Size Box, another new offering, garnered attention for its predictive maintenance capabilities, monitoring the condition of wear components to enhance efficiency and quality assurance in production processes. A delegation from Pinhua Garments Co., a leading Chinese company specializing in recycled staple fibres, expressed strong interest in these advancements. Already utilizing an ISOSIZE and a previous generation Karl Mayer sizing machine, Pinhua Garments has now invested in a state-of-the-art PROSIZE with VSB Size Box, marking the debut of this innovative equipment in the Chinese market.

During the trade fair, Pinhua Garments learned about the benefits of the Smart Size Box HSB, including reduced unplanned downtime and lower maintenance costs, which contribute to more efficient production. The Smart Size Box can achieve a cover factor of up to 100% at sizing speeds of 160 m/min, with an optional 200 m/min.
