Karl Mayer Technical Textiles Appoints Hagen Lotzmann As Managing Director

Karl Mayer Technical Textiles has appointed Hagen Lotzmann as its new Managing Director, effective July 1, 2025. He will also serve as President of the Karl Mayer Technical Textiles business unit.

A mechanical engineer by training, Lotzmann has been with the company since 2008, contributing in roles ranging from development engineer to sales engineer, and later leading Sales, Product Management, and Application Technology. His deep understanding of the company’s operations and customer needs provides a strong foundation for his new leadership role.

Under his direction, the company aims to strengthen its Chemnitz and Selbitz sites as key hubs for service, sales and development, while relocating production and assembly within the Karl Mayer Group.

“Customers can continue to rely on the quality and performance of our machines, but will benefit from an even greater market orientation and stronger focus on their needs,” Lotzmann said, adding further, “Innovations are needed more than ever and our drive to deliver them is stronger than ever.”
