Karur Textile Manufacturer Exporters’ Association Launches First Merchandiser Course
The Karur Textile Manufacturer Exporters’ Association (KTMEA) achieved another milestone in its dedicated service to the home textile industry with the inauguration of the first batch of the Merchandiser course. The momentous event took place at KTMEA’s Training Centre on February 1, 2024, with the President M. Nachimuthu leading the inauguration ceremony.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of key figures in KTMEA’s leadership, including President P. Gopalakrishnan, Vice-President K. G. Prithivi, Secretary S. Sukumar, Treasurer V. Ashok Ramkumar, Joint-Secretary A. Sethupathi and various EC/CC members of the association.
President M. Nachimuthu inaugurated the Merchandiser course, symbolizing KTMEA’s commitment to fostering expertise and skills within the home textile industry. The event marked the beginning of a comprehensive training programme aimed at enhancing the capabilities of individuals in the field.
As part of the inauguration, training kits were distributed to the enthusiastic trainees of the first batch, setting the stage for a hands-on and immersive learning experience. This initiative reflects KTMEA’s dedication to nurturing talent and empowering professionals within the textile sector.
