KNOT Seminar Gives Oversight On Technologies Shown At ITMA

Kushal Network of Textile (KNOT) hosted a half-day seminar on ‘Transformation in Textile World’ on July 15 with support from Kushal Textile Institute (KTI) in Surat.

The objective of the seminar was to give an oversight of ITMA 2023 to members of KNOT & KTI. The seminar saw attendance of around 100 delegates, whose average age was 35 years.

Minesh Adhvaryu, Chairman of KNOT and Director of Kushal Textile Institute gave welcome speech, while Tarun Chashmawala, President at KNOT informed delegates on the objectives of the seminar.

Kishore Mahadevwala of Rima Machines was the Chief Guest and Keyur Smart, a well-known textile consultant of Surat presented paper on ‘Value Addition in Weaving, Knitting & Embroidery Industry’.

Minesh Adhvaryu presented paper on ‘New Developments in Weaving Industry’ and explained in detail the advanced Rapier and Airjet weaving machines which were launched at ITMA 2023.

Karan Chevli of Anil Dyeing & Rajni Processor presented paper on ‘Developments in Processing Industry’ and especially dwelled on the section of textile printing area, particularly digital printing and explained the threat of new technologies to traditional practices.

Hemal Shah, a serial entrepreneur presented a paper on ‘Economic Scenario & Trends’ which will impact the industry in future. He explained about the investment required to run a company and also informed on the need to become environmental conscious.

Kushal Adhvaryu, Director at DigiEn Infosoft presented a paper on ‘Developments of Digitisation in Industry’ and spoke on every section of the industry beginning from production line to management to marketing.

He explained in detail the benefits of AI and Machine Learning which are used by various companies and concluded that in the next few years, all these tools will be dominating the industry.

Anish Vakil, a technocrat of processing industry gave important tips on processing industry and Hasmukh Shah shared motivational thoughts.

Bhavesh Patel, Vice President of KNOT delivered vote of thanks.
