Kuwait Based NRI To Import Uzbek Traditional Dresses For Women
A Kuwait based non-resident Indian (NRI), Anupam Jain has expressed interest in importing Uzbekistan traditional dresses for women
Towards this end, a meeting was held between Uzbekistan embassy officials in Kuwait and Anupam Jain who owns Gulf Mysore General Trading Company.
“Anupam Jain, who moved from India to Kuwait, has opened several Indian heritage stores here which specialise in the sale of Indian traditional garments,” Dunyo news agency reported.
To begin with, Jain expressed interest in importing 3,000 units of traditional Uzbek dresses for women and 10,000 metres of Uzbek fabrics.
In future, he will open a garment factory in Kuwait to produce ready-made garments made from Uzbek fabrics.
Anupam Jain will visit Uzbekistan in the middle of the year and hold negotiations with representatives of factories producing and exporting Uzbek traditional costumes.
