LMW Global FZE Powers Supra Textiles Modernization Drive In Kenya With Advanced Carding Solutions

LMW Global FZE, a worldwide leader in textile machinery manufacturing, proudly announces the successful commissioning of its advanced LC361 model carding machines at Supra Textiles Limited, Nairobi, Kenya, a part of the reputed Sunflag Group with over 75 years of legacy in African manufacturing.

Supra Textiles Ltd is one of Kenya’s most diversified textile companies, with dedicated spinning plants for both 100% cotton and synthetic materials (100% polyester and blends), and large-scale weaving and knitting divisions that serve a wide spectrum of market demands. The company currently operates with an installed capacity of 21,648 ring spindles and 484 open-end spindles, making it one of the largest players in East Africa.

This significant modernization project involved replacing 16 older-generation C1/2 carding machines with 8 high-performance LC361 model machines, designed for 100% cotton processing. This project is part of Supra Textiles to scale up production efficiently within their existing infrastructure.

The LC361 carding machines, engineered to deliver consistent performance with higher efficiency, are operating smoothly, meeting both productivity and quality benchmarks. Supra Textiles has validated the superior sliver quality and expressed satisfaction with the performance and the quality of the end yarn.
