M. A. Jabbar Of DBL Group Named 2023 SDG Pioneer By UN Global Compact
A. Jabbar, Managing Director of DBL Group, has been honoured as one of the 2023 SDG Pioneers for large national and multinational companies by the UN Global Compact. Each year, the UN Global Compact highlights a select group of SDG pioneers—12 outstanding business leaders who have made remarkable strides in advancing the global goals by adhering to the ten principles.
Jabbar’s selection followed a rigorous and highly competitive evaluation process that considered applications from diverse regions around the world. Ultimately, a diverse multi-stakeholder panel, featuring representatives from the United Nations, Global Compact Board, academia and previous SDG Pioneers, cast their votes to recognize Jabbar’s significant contributions from the Asia-Oceania region as a 2023 SDG Pioneer.
This prestigious acknowledgment underscores Jabbar’s unwavering commitment to driving positive change and progress in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
