Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Inaugurates Advanced Textile Unit By Sagar Group

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, inaugurated the advanced automated textile Unit 6 of Sagar Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd., in the village Tamot Tehsil Goharganj, Raisen district.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of State Narendra Shivaji Patel, Member of Parliament from Vidisha, Ramakant Bhargava, Member of Legislative Assembly Bhojpur, Vidhan Sabha Surendra Patwa, Member of Legislative Assembly Sanchi, Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Zila Panchayat Chairman Raisen Yashwant Meena, and BJP District Chairman Rakesh Sharma as guests of honor.

The event also saw the presence of Raghvendra Singh IAS, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari IAS, Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), Bhopal Commissioner Pavan Sharma IAS, Irshaad Ali IPS IG Hoshangabad, Collector Raisen Arvind Kumar Dubey I.A.S., and key government officials from Bhopal and Raisen.

The newly inaugurated unit, operated by Sagar Group, will manufacture Blow Room Blend Cotton Polyester Combed and Compact Yarns in the Count range 20s to 45s, contributing to the state economy with exports to 20+ countries.

Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman of Sagar Group, shared that the new unit is expected to generate an additional 3000-3500 direct and indirect employment opportunities for the state’s youth, particularly empowering women. The group’s future project will focus on dyeing & processing to manufacture fabric for export to more than 20+ countries.

Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal, Managing Director of Sagar Group, highlighted the new investment in Blow room blend Polyester Cotton, bringing them closer to their mission of being among Madhya Pradesh’s Top 10 spinning mills in select textile clusters of India. He emphasized that their innovative high-quality products will now be exported worldwide with world-class quality standards.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohav Yadav toured the newly inaugurated unit and interacted with the women working there. During his address, Dr. Yadav expressed the government’s commitment to aggressively promoting industries and providing all possible help to industrialists for setting up their units. He stressed the government’s continuous efforts to employ youth by promoting industries, aiming to make them self-reliant, profitable, and employment-generating.

Dr. Yadav also honored the employees of Sagar Group with a memento for their excellent contribution and for strengthening the group’s activities towards community development.
