Mango Launches Lisa – The In-House AI Platform for Fashion

European fashion giant Mango is embracing digital transformation with Lisa, its conversational AI platform. Lisa, developed in under nine months, leverages both private and open-source AI models. It resembles a ChatGPT interface and will enhance various aspects of Mango’s operations, from collection development to after-sales service.

Mango’s broader technological transformation aims to digitize critical information assets in the fashion industry, such as customer data, store management and product lifecycles.

Generative AI, including Lisa, is seen as a valuable co-pilot for Mango’s employees and stakeholders, helping to augment their capabilities. Beyond Lisa, Mango has already introduced Inspire, another AI platform for co-creating fashion elements. This has resulted in over twenty AI-assisted garments in the market.

Mango also employs AI for tasks like creating spaces, scenarios and images, benefiting its photography studio and design teams.
