Mango To Expand Presence In UK With 20 New Store Openings In 2024
Mango, a leading European fashion group, is set to expand its footprint in the UK with over 20 new store openings planned for 2024. The expansion will focus on increasing presence in London, Scotland and branching into Northern Ireland, central and southern England.
Daniel López, Mango’s Director of Expansion and Franchising, highlights the UK as a priority market for international growth, aiming to strengthen the Mango brand through increased presence in key cities.
The expansion strategy includes four new store openings in London, building upon the recent launch in Windsor Yards shopping centre. Mango will also expand into Scotland with stores in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and venture into cities in Northern Ireland and central/southern England.
The new stores will feature Mango’s New Med store concept, emphasizing sustainability and architectural integration. Warm tones, neutral colours and natural materials like wood and marble will create a Mediterranean-inspired ambiance.
Mango has been present in the UK since 1999 and has steadily expanded its presence, notably opening flagship stores in London and locations across major cities. At the close of the FY2023, Mango operated 60 stores across the country, including company stores, franchises and digital channels.
