MEDITEX Exclusive Pavilion At Techtextil India
An exclusive pavilion – MEDITEX, focusing on medical textiles will be put up during Techtextil India 2023, scheduled to be held from 12-14 September.
The pavilion to be hosted by the South India Textile Research Association (SITRA), focusing on medical textiles, will have live demonstrations and showcase high-growth application areas.
Medical textiles are fabrics that are used in the healthcare industry for a variety of purposes ranging from maintenance of hygiene, prevention/control of infection to saving the life of critically ill patients.
SITRA has a Centre of Excellence focusing on medical textiles, which organised MEDITEX – an International Medical Textile Expo cum Conference earlier in 2014 and also 2018.
