Monterey Textiles Group Acquires Patrick Yarns, Launches FilSpec USA
Monterey Textiles Group has announced the successful acquisition of Patrick Yarns, previously part of the Coats Group. The facility, located in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, will now operate under the name FilSpec USA, ushering in a new chapter of innovation and excellence in specialty technical yarn production.
This strategic acquisition strengthens FilSpec’s position in North America and Europe, reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality, engineered yarns. FilSpec USA will work in synergy with FilSpec’s existing operations in Sherbrooke, Quebec, expanding production capabilities and enhancing the group’s leadership in the technical textiles sector.
