Pakistani Textile Exports Grow For Second Consecutive Month
Pakistani textile exports grew for the second consecutive month in January 2024 and totaled US $1.45 billion, up 10.10 percent year on year and 3.98 percent month on month.
Cotton yarn exports registered a remarkable 19.78 percent year on year growth and stood at $81.295 million. However, they declined 14.65 percent when compared with December 2023.
Textile overseas shipments in the seven months to June 30, 2024 of fiscal 2023-24 amounted to $9.738 billion, down 2.99 percent compared to $10.03 billion during the same period of fiscal 2022-23.
