Piana Nonwovens Bags ISO 14001 Certification For Two Plants
Piana Nonwovens which specialises in vertically and cross-lapped nonwovens has received ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system for its Georgia and Arizona based US facilities.
ISO 14001 is the world’s most recognised environmental management system and supports the environmental pillar of sustainability.
The standard describes requirements that identify opportunities for continuous improvement to avoid, minimise and reduce environmental impacts across the organization.
The standard also enables organisations to set environmental performance targets and demonstrate proactive initiatives, from a life-cycle perspective.
