Piyush Roy Takes Charge As VP & Complex Head (DTA2) At SRF
Piyush Roy has been appointed Vice President & Complex Head (DTA2) at SRF Limited, a diversified Indian conglomerate with strong presence across chemicals, packaging films, technical textiles, and fluorochemicals.
Roy brings extensive industry experience spanning several decades, with deep expertise in production, manufacturing operations, and process optimisation. Over the course of his career, he has held key positions at SRF as well as at Toppan Speciality Films (TSF), Vista Films and Packaging, Cosmo Films, and Gujarat Propack Ltd. He has consistently led large-scale manufacturing units, driving operational efficiency, improving plant performance, and delivering sustained business outcomes in the packaging and specialty films segment.
An Industrial Chemistry graduate with a specialisation in Polymer Science from Sardar Patel University, Roy combines strong technical knowledge with hands-on operational leadership and strategic execution capabilities.
In his new role, Roy will focus on strengthening manufacturing capabilities at the DTA2 complex, enhancing process innovation, and driving efficiency-led growth. His appointment is aligned with SRF’s broader strategy to scale operations, reinforce sustainability practices, and expand its global footprint across high-performance materials and industrial solutions.
