PLI Scheme For Textiles Extended Till December 31
In view of the requests from textile industry stakeholders’, the Ministry of Textiles has decided to extend the date of inviting fresh applications under the PLI Scheme up to December 31, 2023.
Earlier the Ministry had extended the period for inviting fresh applications from the textile industry till August 31, 2023 and then to October 31, 2023.
The PLI Scheme for textiles is specifically for manmade fibre apparels, manmade fibre fabrics, and technical textile products.
The extension of the application deadline offers an opportunity for a broader range of businesses to engage with the PLI scheme in the textiles sector, fostering innovation and growth.
Companies now have an additional two months to prepare and submit their applications, aligning with the Ministry’s goal of promoting and supporting the textiles industry in India.
