Pooja Enterprises Unveils The Game-Changer Turbo Coat At ITMA Asia 2025

With Turbo Coat, printers can coat and print in-house, reducing pollution and improving turnaround time significantly, says Karan Agrawal
Breaking away from convention, Pooja Enterprises has unveiled the Turbo Coat, a true game-changer for the digital printing industry. Turbo Coat is an innovative pre-treatment solution that promises to transform how textile manufacturers handle coating and finishing.
“At this year’s ITMA Asia, we’re showcasing two key innovations, our advanced dryers for digital printing and the all-new Turbo Coat pre-treatment system,” shared Karan Agrawal, Managing Partner, Pooja Enterprises. “While our dryers are already known for their versatility and compatibility with printers from around the world, it’s the Turbo Coat that’s capturing everyone’s attention.”
Traditionally, coating in digital printing has been carried out using large stenter machines spanning 70 to 80 feet, which require heavy investments and regulatory permissions. “A full stenter setup can cost around Rs 3 to 4 crores,” Agrawal explained. “With the Turbo Coat, that changes completely. Our machine is just four metres long and performs the coating process separately before the fabric goes through the stenter once, cutting down both cost and complexity.”
The Turbo Coat employs contact heating technology rather than hot air, bringing operating costs down to one-third of a conventional stenter. It’s available with steam, electric and gas heating options and offers an impressive output of around 4,000 metres a day.
Agrawal highlighted the sustainability edge of this innovation: “Earlier, printers had to send fabric outside twice for coating and finishing, which meant higher carbon footprint, logistics costs and water consumption. Now, they can coat and print in-house, reducing pollution and improving turnaround time significantly.”
The Turbo Coat range comes in three models, Turbo Coat 1, 2 and 3, to suit different scales of production. “Turbo Coat 1 is perfect for smaller manufacturers, while Turbo 2 and 3 are for higher production capacities with additional heating cylinders,” he said.
The response at ITMA Asia 2025 has been remarkable. “We’ve had visitors from China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Africa and Korea,” Agrawal noted. “What stood out was when a Chinese company approached us to source machines from India. That’s a proud moment, it shows Indian innovation is being recognized globally.”
